This highly anticipated league will feature five powerhouse teams: Maties 1, Maties 2, Paarl, UWC, and an all new All-Star Team.
With a vision to elevate the standard of netball, the Maties Netball Regional League will serve as a competitive platform for teams from the Cape Winelands and Cape Town districts. The league provides an opportunity for players to showcase their talent, refine their skills, and compete at an elite level.
The league is designed to bridge the gap between district and provincial-level netball, offering structured competition that fosters player development and team excellence. The inaugural season, set to kick off in 2025, will be fully funded by Maties Netball, ensuring a successful launch. Future seasons will explore sponsorship opportunities to sustain and grow the competition.
